The Handmaid's Tale has teased fans with some foreboding first-look images ahead of its sixth season. The much-awaited final season of the Hulu series now has a release window set.

Based on Margaret Atwood's seminal 1985 novel, Bruce Miller's dystopian drama is slated to hit screens in spring 2025. A batch of production stills have been unveiled, painting a grim picture of the Republic of Gilead.

Featured in the newly released photos are central characters such as June (portrayed by Elisabeth Moss), who is captured smiling unnervingly while cradling a baby.

Intense close-up shots of Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) and Nick (Max Minghella) reveal their characters' inner turmoil. Additional images present Moira (Samira Wiley) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) facing the camera directly, and another captures Moira alongside Luke (O-T Fagbenle) sporting anxious expressions.
