nme.comThe Goonies is not in the works after all, according original cast members Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton.Earlier this week, The Sun claimed that The Goonies 2 would be filmed next summer, with Steven Spielberg directing and many of the original cast members returning.
However, Feldman and Plimpton have now shut down the report.“People, there is no ‘Goonies 2’ script, there is no one ‘attached,’” Plimpton wrote on Instagram. “Spielberg is not directing, it’s not real.
