Louisa Jacobson is making a name for herself on the new HBO series The Gilded Age and she’s also currently starring in a play in L.A.
The 30-year-old actress, who is the youngest daughter of Meryl Streep, is a recent graduate of the Yale School of Drama where she received her M.F.A.
in acting. EW notes that Louisa is “heartbreaking in her single scene” in Trayf, which just opened at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Here is the play’s synopsis: “Zalmy lives a double life. By day, he drives a Chabad “Mitzvah Tank” through 1990s New York City, performing good deeds with his best friend Shmuel.
