The future of Stretford is set to be decided, with council bosses reaching out to the public. The ‘Future Stretford’ research is being carried out by consultancy firm Arup on behalf of Trafford council.
The aim is to make the town ‘a viable, sustainable and dynamic place’ that meets the needs of residents and businesses. It will take place against the backdrop of the £50m scheme to transform Stretford Mall into a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.
