EXCLUSIVE: Fox is tripling down on The Floor. The network has handed the Rob Lowe-hosted and produced game show a second and third season after its first season performed well for the network and was spoofed on Saturday Night Live.

The news comes ahead of Fox’s Upfront, which is being held in New York tomorrow. The show, which Deadline revealed had landed at Fox last June, premiered on January 2.

It ran for ten episodes through to the end of February. The network said that the premiere episode amassed 4.4M multi-platform viewers after seven days of viewing, per Nielsen data, which is a 73% boost from the 2.5M that tuned in same-day, making it the network’s most-streamed game show ever and the network’s most-watched Tuesday unscripted debut in more than 13 years, since Masterchef premiered in 2010.

It continued to perform well over its season. The Floor is a physical quiz show that sees contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a hundred equal squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
