Young plane lovers once again have the chance to step into a pilot's shoes at Manchester Airport's Flight Academy this half term.
Kids get to board a real aircraft and learn about the different roles on board a plane at the airport's Runway Visitor Park throughout the school holidays.
There are two separate sessions running, for children aged four to seven and those aged eight to 12, with dates available throughout the break. Sessions take place on board the Runway Visitor Park’s retired Monarch DC10 airliner and youngsters can get a feel for what it would be like to sit in the cockpit and take control of a commercial aircraft.
