Spring is finally here, and along with the sunshine and the fact we can start to dig out our favourite dresses again, it’s time for some new seasonal sweetness when it comes to our perfume.
Over the winter, most people tend to prefer much deeper, richer scents like spices and woods to reflect the dark, cosy feelings that come with the colder months.
However, now spring has sprung, the lighter days, sunshine, and colourful wardrobe options have got us ready for something lighter and sweeter to match.
Vanilla-based perfumes are a long-time classic scent, but often get a bad rap for being too sickly or youthful – which we can probably thank the 00s for, with scents like Britney Spear’s Fantasy filling your nostrils in every corridor and changing room you passed through.
