‘The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion’ remake could be coming sooner than you think

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion could be confirmed in the coming weeks ahead of a 2025 release date.The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was first released in 2006 and became a critical and commercial success.

The hugely-popular sequel Skyrim followed in 2011 and Bethesda is currently working on The Elder Scrolls 6.Back in 2023, a leak suggested the studio was also working on a remake of Oblivion with former Virtuos developers backing up the reports.

However Bethesda has never confirmed a remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is in the works.That could be set to change though.

According to an industry insider, an official announcement is due “either this month or next month.” NateTheHate went on to say the remastered Oblivion was originally set to launch in June 2025 but will now be “sooner”.Either this month or next month.
