Set in a hip jazz club in Paris of the same name, The Eddy follows Elliot (Andre Holland), a once-celebrated jazz pianist in New York, who is now trying to keep his club afloat in the multicultural and busy streets of the French capital.
He also faces personal issues too in his on-off romance with his club band's lead singer, Maja (Joanna Kulig), as his teenage daughter, Julie (Amandla Stenberg) comes to stay with him.
Elsewhere, Elliot's business partner, Farid (Tahar Rahim), is hiding secrets from him and his own wife, Amira (Leïla Bekhti).
