Bolton is the 'easiest' test centre at which to pass your driving test, and Rochdale the 'hardest.' That is the conclusion of an analysis of the most recent data on pass rates.
The Bolton centre, in Great Lever, had a pass rate of 54.6% from April 2023 to March this year, the stats show. This makes it the most likely place to pass in Greater Manchester, and the 12th highest in the entire country.
Whereas only 38.1% of people who took their test at the Rochdale test centre passed. These have then been put into a league table by HGV firm Law Trucks. The centre with the second highest pass rate, of 52.2% was Bredbury in Stockport.
