A four-year-old girl is said to have been 'scarred for life' after a dog bit her as she played in a park. Daisy Fagan needed stitches in her cheek after the black terrier bit her on the lips and left blood 'squirting' from her face, her family said.
And they said she still wakes up every night crying from nightmares of the mauling last month. But as the dog wasn't a banned breed, police have been left powerless to seize it.

She said: "The dog has done the same thing as a banned breed, so I can’t see the difference. This little terrier has come along and tried to take her face off.
