Multiple hosts might be used on Comedy Central's The Daily Show in the wake of Trevor Noah's slated departure from the series.Three insiders told Variety on Tuesday that the Paramount Global-owned network is looking at a potential rotation of candidates when it resumes airing January 17, though it was unclear if any plans had been finalized.Noah's last day at The Daily Show is scheduled for December 8, and Comedy Central said it is looking at a 'reinvention' of the long-running show.

The network said in a statement on the topic, 'In time, we will turn to the next chapter of The Daily Show, and all of our incredible correspondents will be at the top of that list.
