His mother, singer and Loose Women presenter Brenda Edwards, released a statement explaining her son passed away in February due to cardiac arrhythmia after taking recreational drugs.
Brenda stated she wanted to address the news herself with everyone who loved, admired, and respected her son. She also wanted to encourage others to think wisely when faced with similar situations in the future.
Since her son's passing, Brenda has also set up the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust foundation, which aims to support young people and children.
