evoke.ieWhile there has been many rumours as to who would be taking over the role of Prince Charles in The Crown, it looks like Josh O’Connor has just confirmed who it will be.
The actor was being interviewed for GQ magazine and talk fast turned to his Golden Globe winning performance as the future King and Josh made sure to clarify his feelings on stepping away from the role.
In the process, he may have accidentally confirmed that Dominic West is set to take over the mantle but the team have yet to confirm the casting.
Josh said: ‘I’ve been asked about it [leaving the role] in the past and I’ve said it’s brilliant I don’t have to play him any more, which sometimes implies I didn’t enjoy it.
