Former child star Michael Fishman has concluded his 14-year legacy role as David Jacob 'D.J.' Conner in The Conners just weeks ahead of the fifth season premiere that airs on September 21.The first hint that something was amiss was last week when ABC unveiled the season five poster, which excluded the 40-year-old SoCal native.TVLine reported on Monday that 'the door has been left open for the character's return' but there are no current plans to bring back Michael, who only appeared in 36 of the Roseanne spin-off's 71 episodes.
