‘The Conners’ Gets Premiere Date For Seventh & Final Season; Watch Farewell Teaser
deadline.comThe Conners are ready to say goodbye. ABC has set Wednesday, March 26 for the premiere of the Roseanne follow-up’s seventh and final season with a six-episode farewell event.
Per ABC, “For over three decades, audiences have followed along with the Conners as they navigate the daily struggles of life in Lanford.
Dan, Jackie, Darlene and Becky grapple with parenthood, marriage, financial pressures and aging in working-class America. Through it all—the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns—with love, humor and perseverance, the family prevails.” Stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Goranson have all returned for the final season.
Throughout its first six seasons,. The Conners, from Tom Werner’s Werner Entertainment, remained a solid ratings performer. The series marked its 100th episode last year, a milestone it shares with mothership series Roseanne.
