Darragh's appointment to the line-up of some of the biggest brains in Britain, as revealed by the Mirror, means he'll be joining the likes of Anne Hegerty and Paul Sinha in the hot-seat.
Darragh, from Ireland, is the first new face to be added to the series since X Factor's Jenny Ryan joined in 2015 and is a post doctoral researcher at Oxford Uni who previously studied at NUI Maynooth.He became a viral sensation after his turn on the much loved quiz show in 2017, when he banked £9,000 himself but had to play with a £2,700 funding pot
