‘The Challenge: All Stars’ Moves to MTV, Brings Back Fan Favorite ‘Rivals’ Theme: Meet the Teams

Emily Longeretta “The Challenge: All Stars” is switching things up for Season 5. The spinoff will move from Paramount+ to MTV for the upcoming season, titled “The Challenge All Stars: Rivals.”The “Rivals” theme has been a fan-favorite in “The Challenge” franchise since its 2011 debut. “Rivals II” aired in 2013, followed by the third in 2016, with each featuring two competitors with murky pasts forced to work together as a team.While the first four seasons of “All Stars” streamed on Paramount+, “The Challenge All Stars: Rivals” premieres Wednesday, January 29, at 8PM ET on MTV.MTV’s “Official Challenge Podcast” will also return, with hosts Da’Vonne Rogers and Devyn Simone; episodes will drop every Thursday beginning Jan.
