Inspired by a real-life 1930s conspiracy, the period piece is the “worst movie of the year,” Post critic Johnny Oleksinski wrote, calling it “the worst movie of the year” despite its Oscar-caliber cast.“The Woman King,” which The Economist said, “may revive the historical action genre,” moved up a notch this week to fourth place, with sales of over $1.3 million.
Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling,” which was in second place last week, moved down to fifth, with a take of over $1.1 million.
