Glasgow on the big screen. Warner Bros had been hoping to release the film, starring Robert Pattinson, on October 1, 2021. But it will now come to Scots cinemas on March 4, 2022 as the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the film industry.
The news will be a blow to comic book fans eager to see the DC hero take down villain in Scotland’s biggest city. Producers of The Batman started filming around the city earlier this year.
The cast and crew were spotted shooting around the Necropolis and Glasgow Royal Infirmary in February. But filming was brought to a halt shortly after as Covid-19 continued to sweep around the globe.
