Star of The Apprentice Jennifer Zamparelli has told how cops gave her a speeding ticket as she made a dash to get home for her injured son.

Irish Jennifer - who starred in the fourth series of The Apprentice in 2008 - was heading to her Dublin home, where son Enzo had suffered an accident.

She told that she had cried for 25 minutes before going on air because she couldn't be with the then two-year-old after he'd taken a nasty tumble.

But after her RTÉ presenting duties were done, she tried to get back home as quickly as possible.
