Any plans we had for sleeping tonight have been thrown out the window after the trailer for the third The Conjuring movie dropped.

And there’s an Irish actor at leading the cast. Dublin actor Ruairi O’Connor will be playing a truly terrifying role in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, of a young man charged with murder.

The trailer is enough to chill your blood. Like the other movies in the series, it focuses on an unknown evil that shocked real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Horrifyingly, it’s true story of the first time in US history that a murder suspect claimed demonic possession as a defence, and the defendant is played by our very own Ruairi O’Connor.
