Lord Sugar is back to his boardroom antics with a new batch of hopefuls on the BBC's The Apprentice, but viewers are already hinting they might 'switch off' mere moments into the premiere episode.

As the competition unfolded, Lord Sugar ushered the candidates into the boardroom to suss them out before the tasks commenced.

With Karren Brady and Tim Campbell by his side, he didn't waste time ribbing the wannabe entrepreneurs. One candidate, Emma, confessed to her preference for a 'two hour lunch break', naturally raising eyebrows from Lord Sugar.

She justified it by saying she starts work extra early to fit in a gym session during that lengthy pause. In true Lord Sugar fashion, he quipped: "You're going to be the first candidate to ask me to work from home! " Whilst this comment drew laughter from fellow contestants, the jest didn't land so well with the audience at home.
