Viewers of The Apprentice were left gobsmacked during tonight's episode when one contestant made an unexpected exit from the show.

In a twist during Thursday night's boardroom showdown, Dr Jana Denzel announced his decision to bow out of the competition before even learning if his team had won or or not.
