"That's my f*****g bike", he shouted... then they pounced

A judge blasted a group of 'pumped up, angry young men' after violence broke out in Bury. Minshull Street Crown Court heard a man had left his grandparent's house to try and track down his stolen bike when he was confronted by a group of up to 15 men. "That's my f*****g bike," he shouted before members of the gang ran at him. "He noted the group were in possession of samurai swords, zombie knives and other types of knives," prosecutor Nicholas Clarke told the court.

He ran back to the house, before family members tried to speak to the group. The man then tried to get his loved ones back inside when he felt a 'sharp pain' in the middle of his back. In the footage, which was shown to the court, three men - Sufyan Afzal, 24; Kabir Butt, 19; and Abdul Mahmood, 18 - were seen with their faces covered while abuse was shouted abuse at the family.

Afzal was seen brandishing a samurai sword. The person who stabbed the victim has not been identified. Following the attack the group fled.
