Gardeners’ World favourite Monty Don, 65, had some sad news for viewers during tonight’s instalment of the BBC programme.The horticulturalist revealed that he would be taking a break from hosting the show for the next few weeks.Towards the end of the programme, Monty broke the news to fans as he relaxed in the sun at Longmeadow with his beloved pet dogs.The gardener said: “Well that’s it for today. “And I’m away for a couple of weeks.” Monty went on to reassure that Gardeners’ World would return next week despite his absence.He also revealed that his co-star Adam Frost would be replacing him and fronting the show from his garden.Monty continued: “But Gardeners’ World, of course, will still be with you and in Adam’s garden.“And I’ll be back.
