Terror suspect Daniel Khalife arrested following prison escape

The 21-year old fled Wandsworth prison earlier this week. A huge nationwide manhunt finally came to an end earlier today (Saturday, September 9) when he was arrested in London just before 11am.
He is now in custody, cops said. A Metropolitan Police statement read: "Metropolitan Police officers have arrested Daniel Khalife who escaped from HMP Wandsworth on 6 Sep.
Officers apprehended him just before 11am today in the Chiswick area, and he is currently in police custody. Police were earlier searching the Chiswick area in west London following 'intelligence-led activity and some confirmed sightings overnight', the Met earlier said.
