Terrifying moment shopkeeper threatened with knife after masked men burst into off-licence

CCTV has captured the terrifying moment a shopkeeper was threatened with a knife after masked men burst into an off-licence in Heywood.

The pair of thugs, wearing balaclavas, targeted the KG store, on Miller Street at around 8.30pm last Sunday (January 19). Footage, posted on social media, shows the moment the two men entered the shop.

One of them runs to the area behind the counter and grabs part of the till, as the other points the blade at the staff member.

They fled the scene with the cash register and police were called. An investigation is currently underway. Police said the staff member was not physically injured but was left 'shaken' during the incident.
