Tenacious D share first new music together since going on hiatus last year

Tenacious D are seemingly back, and have shared their first new music since going on hiatus last year.The duo – comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass – have reunited for a new cover of REO Speedwagon’s ‘Keep On Loving You’, which they have made to help raise funds for those affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires.The track is set to appear on a star-studded compilation album titled ‘Good Music To Lift Los Angeles’.

It arrived on Friday (February 7) via the Good Music Bandcamp page, and also saw contributions from Death Cab For Cutie, R.E.M, The Armed, Health, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Chelsea Wolfe and more.Proceeds raised from the LP will be donated to the L.A.

Regional Food Bank and California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Fund – helping provide support for those displaced by the recent disasters in the city.The cover comes after the band delivered renditions of the song numerous times over the years.
