Rapper Tekashi 69 will spend the rest of his jail sentence at home due to the coronavirus. The rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, had plead with the judge for leniency when the coronavirus pandemic began.

And the judge has now agreed and granted him a compassionate release from his New York prison, where he began his sentence in December 2019 for charges of racketeering.

Hernandez will see out the rest of his two-year sentence at home, under strict supervision. TMZ reported he will have a GPS monitor for the first four months, and he must stay at an address approved by his probation officer.

He is only permitted to leave if he needs necessary medical attention or to visit his attorney, and it must be approved by the probation
