A teenager was hospitalised following an incident in Rutherglen.At around 10pm on Saturday, August 10, police and two ambulances raced to Fernhill Road in Rutherglen after receiving reports of an incident.A 17-year-old boy was found injured and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10pm on Saturday, 10 August, 2024, we were called to a report of a male injured on Fernhill Road, Rutherglen. "Emergency services attended and a 17-year-old male youth was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, for treatment. "Enquiries are ongoing." A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 22:03 on 10 August to attend an incident on Fernhill Road, Rutherglen.
