A teenager has died after a car landed on its roof close to a beauty spot near Greater Manchester. Police say the 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene following the horror crash near Buxton, Derbyshire, on Wednesday night (March 8).
Officers were called out to Goyts Lane, near to Errwood Reservoir, at around 11pm. Derbyshire Police says the car - a grey Volkswagen Polo - left the road and went down an embankment before landing on its roof.
