A teenager was reportedly hit by a car on a main road in Oldham on Tuesday night (May 21). Emergency services raced to the scene of the 'serious' crash at the roundabout, at the busy junction between Rochdale Road, King Street and Middleton Road.
The road was taped off following the collision, as was the roundabout, outside Oldham Leisure Centre. It is understood the teenage boy, thought to have been a pedestrian, was struck at around 8pm.
He was rushed to hospital from the scene. Further details about his condition have not been confirmed by Greater Manchester Police, but the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is thought to be leading the enquiries.
