Parents have been warned of long delays on bus services picking up students at Greater Manchester high schools after a crash on the M60 caused travel chaos.
The collision, on the anticlockwise carriageway before J20 for A664 Manchester New Road, Higher Blackley, forced police to close off multiple lanes, with long delays and tailbacks to J22 for Failsworth.
The Bee Network issued a message on social media on Wednesday afternoon saying that a number of bus services picking up from schools in the area were also caught up in the traffic. Lowton, Hope Academy and Bury College. Schools have been made aware of the delay." All traffic was initially stopped for around 30 minutes after the crash.
