A mum walking home after work feared she'd be killed after being dragged into the woods and attacked by a teenage boy. The boy, then 16, followed his victim for a few minutes before grabbing her from behind.
The woman, who is in her 40s, had been walking to get the bus home in Wythenshawe when she was subjected to the 'truly terrifying' ordeal.
She bravely fought the boy off. His DNA was found on her nails. Now the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been sentenced to three years in a young offender institution.
