A teenager has been arrested after a machete was brandished during a disturbance involving 20 youths. But police are still appealing for video footage and witnesses to the incident in Culcheth.
The weapon was drawn after a local asked the group to move on. Trouble started at about 9.30pm on Saturday November 13th on Shaw Street.
Police received call from a resident who said a group of youths were shouting and causing a disturbance. The caller said that they had approached the group and asked them to leave.
During the incident one of the group, a teenage boy who was stood approximately six to 10 foot away, pulled a machete style knife out of his pants.
