A teenage yob who clipped a police car causing £800 of damage in a bid to escape capture has been jailed. Mccauly Brooker, aged 19, was driving the stolen Ford Fiesta when he was cornered by an unmarked police car in a cul-de-sac in Cheetham Hill.
Brooker was spotted by the officers who were in search of the stolen vehicle, when they saw the blue car parked outside a property on St Kilda’s Drive.
As they shone their headlights into the vehicle, Brooker, of Salford , accelerated forward and scraped the side of the police car, before making a quick getaway at high speeds.
