Teenage girl seriously injured after being hit by Range Rover
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA teenage girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a Range Rover in Trafford. The crash happened on Oakfield Road in Altrincham at around 3pm yesterday (Monday).
Police and paramedics were called to the scene after the girl was struck down by the car. She was rushed to hospital, where she remains with serious injuries.
The driver of the Range Rover is assisting police with enquiries, a spokesperson for the force said. They want to speak to anyone who has dash-cam footage of the incident. A Greater Manchester Police statement said: "At around 3pm on Monday 18 July 2022, we received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Oakfield Road in the Altrincham area.
