A teen girl was rushed to hospital last night after being savagely attacked by a dog as she tried to help its owner fix a harness.
The horrific incident happened last night at roughly 9pm, leaving the girl with substantial injuries to her cheek and needing medical assistance.
The victim, 17, tried to help with putting the dog’s harness on in the park when it attacked her. It savaged her face, leaving her with a ‘substantial’ injury to her face and cheek, report Mirror Online.
She had to go to hospital, officers said. Police have now issued an appeal for witnesses and have asked anyone with information about the man, described in his 70s, or the dog to come forward.
