Teenage duo appear in court charged with driving and theft offences

Two teenage men have been charged with theft and driving offences in Stockport. Joseph Robinson and Kayd Oldham will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (March 18).

The pair were apprehended and arrested after a crash on Essex Road in Gorton, Manchester, on Wednesday (March 16). 18-year-old Mr Robinson, of Granville Road, Cheadle Hulme, has been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and driving offences.

Mr Oldham, age 19 and of Somers Road, Reddish, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking. Both of the men have been remanded into custody. In a separate incident, a 15-year-old male will also appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today charged with burglary and two attempted burglaries.
