The devastated dad of a teenager who took his own life while worried about his exams has found out his son got top marks in one of his A-levels.
Tragic Matthew Mackell, 17, was found dead in a park on May 7. Now Matthew's dad Michael Bond, 48, says his son, who loved maths and dreamed of becoming an accountant, achieved an A in Finance, his favourite subject.
Mr Bond told Kent Online: "It's a bittersweet feeling because I'm proud and I congratulated him at his grave but I just wish he was here. "I don't know about any of his other subjects yet." Matthew was in his first year of sixth form at Skinners' Kent Academy in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
