Joss Stone changed her view of terrorists after meeting a group of militia in Libya, and believes they can change if they are ‘loved’. The Right To Be Wrong singer opened up about her charity trip to Libya in the latest episode of her A Cuppa Happy podcast.
While chatting to Nitin Sawhney, Joss explained how she came to the conclusion people were ‘95 percent good’ after being ‘looked after’ by the militia. ‘When you say that word “militia”, what do we feel?
We feel, “Oh, they’re clearly murderous bastards”,’ she said. ‘These people were so lovely and they were just trying to survive and to protect. ‘They took me to a group of people who were being treated differently in a warzone.
