Teenage robbers threatened a group of tram passengers in a bid to steal their bags and a puppy at Stretford Metrolink stop. Police said the attempted robbery happened at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, February 3.
The victims - a man and two women - were standing at the stop when they were approached by three teenage boys. The teens demanded their bags and other belongings, including a French bulldog puppy.
The offenders left empty handed, leaving the victims uninjured but 'shaken'. The thugs were then seen getting on a bus on nearby Edge Lane.
Police described the offenders as white and between the ages of 14 and 18. At the time of the incident, they were wearing dark coloured clothes and their hoods up.
