Teen boys missing as police launch search for pair last seen in Scots village

Cops have launched an appeal in a bid to trace two teen boys who have been missing since Tuesday. John-Paul Cruden, 14, and Kullin Lawson, 15, were last seen in the Airdrie Road area of Plains, North Lanarkshire.

Police enquiries suggest that they may have travelled to the Aberdeen area.John-Paul Cruden is described as being 5ft 3 with short blonde hair and blue eyes.When last seen, he was wearing a grey/white bubble jacket, black joggers, a dark Nike t-shirt and dark trainers.Kullin Lawson is described as being 5ft 8, medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.He was last seen wearing a black and white Mackenzie jacket, black hoodie, grey joggers, black trainers and was in possession of a black pouch-style bag.Officers are urging anyone with any information on the boys' whereabouts to come forward.Constable Heather Alexander, from Airdrie Police Station, said: "We’re asking for anyone who believes they have seen John-Paul and Kullin to please come forward, or for them to get in touch if they see this appeal."Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 3396 of 8 March.
