Rangers' title triumph last month. Thousands of Gers supporters descended on the city centre as the club won a first Premiership title in a decade.

There were ugly scenes as fans clashed with riot police and sporadic fights broke out- with much of the violence concentrated in George Square.

Officers sustained dozens of injuries as they were pelted with missiles and flares.Police say they have now arrested a 17-year-old youth bringing the total number of arrests to 44.A statement from Police Scotland read: "A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged following an investigation into disorder in George Square on Saturday, 15 May, 2021."He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
