Mengi joined Derby County on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 season on transfer deadline day earlier this month. The 18-year-old defender linked up with Wayne Rooney’s side for the rest of the Championship campaign after being promoted to the United first-team squad at the start of the season.
While the academy graduate is yet to make an impact for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, he made his senior debut in August against LASK in the Europa League and was on the bench for United’s Carabao Cup wins over Luton Town and Brighton.Mengi.
