Tears on Channel 4 Gogglebox from Jenny and Mary as cast share reaction to Queen's death while viewers issue complaint

There were tears on Gogglebox as it returned for the second time since the Queen's death was announced. Queen Elizabeth II died last Thursday, September 8, at Balmoral.

She was 96 and recently celebrated 70 years on the throne with her Platinum Jubilee, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

The hit Channel 4 show debuted its brand new series last Friday (September 9) but didn't include any tribute to reaction to the Queen's passing as it had been filmed prior to the Queen's passing.

As usual, Craig Cash narrated the show and started with his usual opening line while referencing the historic event. "In the week before the sad passing of Her Majesty the Queen, there was plenty on telly," the former Royal Family star said.
