A primary school teacher has revealed the "genius" fib she concocted to her headteacher to avoid having to utter a student's "royal inspired" name.

Picking the ideal name for a child is an arduous, monumental feat – a name can impact a person's impression, so it's crucial to opt for one that will appropriately fit them from babyhood to their later years.For some parents, the uniqueness of a name stands as their foremost priority, which sometimes leads to children receiving highly inventive names.

On the flip side, this quest for originality can also give rise to nonsensically spelt variations of standard, time-honoured names or monikers that outright ignore the principles of phonics.Some of the more unconventional names often end up being mocked online, with people taking to social media to share their frustration and amusement with the choices some parents have opted for.This seemed to be the case for one school worker who took to Reddit to share a name they’re particularly unimpressed with.

They simply penned: “I work in an elementary school… I have seen so many. The restraint I have shown thus far is amazing but… Ya’Hyniss”.
