Taylor Swift is set to make music history tomorrow night as she becomes the first woman to receive the Global Icon award at the BRITs.

The Shake It Off singer will be presented with the award at London’s O2 Arena as organisers got the go-ahead for the in-person event - one of the first to be staged since the pandemic began.

Taylor, 31, will be the youngest person ever to win the Global Icon Award, which is the BRITs' highest accolade, with the gong previously going to music legends Sir Elton John, David Bowie and Robbie Williams.

The Fearless singer has relocated from the US to London after setting up home with her British boyfriend Joe Alwyn earlier this year.
