Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Taylor Swift Fans Call Out Jeopardy! Contestants After They Missed A Clue About Singer

Fans of Taylor Swift aren’t such big fans of a few Jeopardy! contestants this week. Many took to social media after Wednesday’s (July 20) episode, when all three contestants missed the clue about the 32-year-old “Blank Space” singer. Click inside to read more… During the episode, one of Taylor‘s songs was the answer to a $400 clue – however, while one contestant rang in to answer it, they couldn’t come up with Taylor’s name.

In the “Title That Completes the Rhyme” category, which quizzes players on their music knowledge, host Ken Jennings read: “And I’m just like oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh, you need to just stop.

Like, can you just not step on my gown?” The other two contestants didn’t attempt to either. “I really wish this was Johnny [Gilbert] reading these,” Ken joked before revealing the answer was Taylor‘s “You Need to Calm Down”.
